Over and above the sectors outlined previously, the business would have to meet the following key criteria :

1. Based on the UK mainland with preference to the South East
2. Traditional & sustainable sector, excluding retailing, IT based products & services and Internet based or internet driven core activity
3. Established for at least 5 years
4. Profitable
5. Varied customer base with no customer accounting for more than 20% of turnover
6. Earnings before tax in excess of £200K
7. Headcount up to 50
